Amir Meenai Shayari

 Amir Meenai (sometimes spelled Amir Minai) was a renowned Urdu poet from the Indian subcontinent, known for his ghazals and nazms. He was born in 1913 in the town of Meerut, in present-day Uttar Pradesh, India, and passed away in 2000. Meenai was a prolific writer, with over a dozen published collections of his poetry, and he was widely regarded as one of the greatest poets of the 20th century in the Urdu language. His work continues to be celebrated and studied by scholars and poetry lovers alike.

"اگر آنکھوں میں آنسو ہیں تو رو نہیں سکتے

 بس مسکرا دو کسی پر، دنیا بھلا دو گے"
(If you have tears in your eyes, you cannot cry.
Just smile at someone, and the world will forget)

"لوٹتے ہوئے وقت کو، کیسے گزاروں
 مرے ساتھ ہونے والے، کہتے تو ہو کر دیکھو"
(How do I spend the time that slips away?
those who promise to be with me, let them fulfill their promise

"کوئی نہیں تھا، کوئی ہے، کوئی ہو گا

 جب چاہو، جو چاہو، تم سب کہو
No one was there, someone is here, someone will come.
When you want, say what you want

"کبھی کبھی تو آپ بھی پچھتاتے ہیں، دیکھا نہیں تو کیا دیکھا

 کچھ تو ہوتا ہو گا جو چھپا رہا ہے پیچھے"
(Sometimes you regret too. If you haven't seen anything,
something must be hidden behind)
