Deewar kiya giri mere thake hue makaan ki Logon ne mere sahn mein raste bana liye

Deewar kya giri mere khasta makan ki
Deewar kya giri mere khasta makan ki

Deewar kiya giri mere thake hue makaan ki
Logon ne mere sahn mein raste bana liye

Jab kisi lafz ne uljhe hue maani kholay
Rang kuchh aur nikhraaya fan paron mein
Sabza-e-Ali Saba

The walls crumbled off my tired abode
People made paths in my courtyard
When a word unraveled a tangled meaning
A different hue shone in the pages of my art

Sabt  Ali, Saba

The poem expresses the poet's emotions regarding the changes and transformations that have occurred in his life. The crumbling walls of his house signify the deterioration and decline he is experiencing. The paths made by people in his courtyard represent the way others have influenced his life and left their mark on him.

However, the poem ends on a positive note, suggesting that a single word can untangle the twisted meanings and bring about a new perspective that can transform the world into a place of art and beauty. The phrase "Sabz Ali Sabz" at the end of the poem is the poet's pen name and acts as a signature to his work.
