A Night of Longing: Seeking the Blessings of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

ऐ रसूलअल्लाह ﷺ, जुदाई की रात मेरी ख्वाहिशों के लिए ढल जाए।

मुझे अपने दर का मेहमान बना लो, ऐ रसूलअल्लाह ﷺ।

O Messenger of Allah ﷺ, let the night of separation
pass for the sake of my desires.

Grant me the honor of being a guest at your doorstep,
O Messenger of Allah ﷺ

मदीने के कांटों को सीने लगा कर,

मदीने के जर्रों को सुरमा बना कर,

निगाहें झुकाए नबी जी ﷺ के आगे,

अपने दिल का ग़म सुनाने को जी चाहता है।

Clasping the thorns of Madinah to my chest,

Turning its dust into kohl for my eyes,

With lowered gaze before my beloved Prophet ﷺ

I long to pour out the sorrows of my heart.
