Waqt Achha Bhi Aayega Nasir Gham Na Kar Zindagi Padhi Hai Abhi

nasir kazmi

वक़्त अच्छा भी आएगा 'नासिर'
ग़म न कर ज़िंदगी पड़ी है अभी

Waqt Achha Bhi Aayega Nasir
Gham Na Kar Zindagi Padhi Hai Abhi

Good times shall also come Nasir
Despair not. The Life is not over yet

"A wave has risen in my heart now
A fresh breeze is blowing now

We have delicate moods too
And these wounds are also new

There is chaos in the heart's banquet
A wall has fallen now

In this crowded world, life feels empty
Who knows what is lacking now

If you are not a partner in happiness, then what?
Your silence is our solace now

From the silent islands of memories
Your voice is coming now

In the dark alleys of the city
Life is searching for you now

People have fallen asleep in that mansion
But a window is still open now

You friends, wake up from now
The night is awake in the city now

Good times will come, 'Nasir'
Don't grieve, life has just begun now."

Nasir Kazmi Poetry: "A Wave Has Risen in My Heart Now"

Nasir Kazmi, a renowned Urdu poet, has beautifully captured the essence of emotions and longing in his ghazal titled "A Wave Has Risen in My Heart Now" ('दिल में इक लहर सी उठी है अभी'). This poetic masterpiece delves into the depths of the human heart, unveiling a surge of sentiments that resonate with readers.

In this ghazal, Nasir Kazmi skillfully portrays the awakening of emotions, symbolized by a wave that emerges within the depths of the heart. This wave signifies a sudden surge of feelings, a breath of fresh air that revitalizes the soul. It represents the anticipation of something new, something that has the power to transform and inspire.

The poet acknowledges the delicate nature of human moods, acknowledging that they can be as fragile as the wave that has just risen. These emotions, raw and tender, are akin to fresh wounds that have yet to heal. Nasir Kazmi's words evoke empathy and introspection, allowing readers to reflect upon their own emotional landscapes.

Amidst the chaos and turmoil of life, the banquet of the heart resonates with a tumultuous uproar. The falling of a wall signifies a metaphorical barrier breaking down, enabling a renewed perspective and an influx of emotions. The poet acknowledges that in this vast world, one can feel a sense of emptiness, a longing for something that is missing, yet to be discovered.

Nasir Kazmi acknowledges the significance of companionship in finding solace. If one cannot find solace in the company of others, the silence becomes a source of comfort and solace itself. The voice that emerges from the silent islands of memories serves as a reminder of cherished moments, providing solace and comfort in times of solitude.

Within the alleys of the city, where darkness and uncertainty prevail, life searches for meaning and connection. The poet suggests that even in the midst of a bustling city, one can feel a profound sense of solitude and yearning, as life continues its quest for purpose and fulfillment.

Nasir Kazmi's ghazal paints a vivid picture of a mansion where people have fallen asleep, yet a window remains open. This imagery evokes a sense of hope, suggesting that even in the midst of slumber, there is still an opportunity for awakening, for new beginnings.

The poet calls upon his friends to awaken from their slumber and embrace the night that is awake in the city. This call to action signifies a desire to embrace life fully, to seize the opportunities that await, and to celebrate the beauty and vibrancy of the present moment.

In the closing lines, Nasir Kazmi offers a message of hope and reassurance. He assures that good times will come, reminding readers not to grieve, for life is still in its nascent stages, holding untold possibilities and joys.

Nasir Kazmi's ghazal, "A Wave Has Risen in My Heart Now," beautifully encapsulates the depth of human emotions, the longing for connection, and the hope for a brighter future. Through his poignant verses, he invites readers to embark on a journey of self-reflection and introspection, while embracing the beauty and unpredictability of life's waves.
