Urdu Shayari of Shah Wali Allah
The heart imagines an
acquaintance with this flower,
But the breeze does
not claim the domain of accessibility.
Perhaps due to the
abundance of lovers, I'm afraid,
That it might falsely
claim a divine connection.
Today, with just one
look, I saw through your deception, Zahid,
What was the pride in
your claim of being familiar?
I cannot find any
name in the world to not attach my heart to,
If I were to describe
your disloyalty.
My rival claims it's
shamelessness on my part.
Those who claim to
rule the kingdom of Jam are not in my thoughts,
Their pride lies in
the dust of your steps.
Do not yearn for the
love of a cruel beloved, O Ishthiaq,
Focus on the thought of
the ambush of Sai's peak.
