ye kaisa daur kaise log kaisi zindagani hai
ke hum ko kis tarah jeena hai samjhana nahi aata
je sachche aur seedeh hain pahunch jate hain manzil pr
bhatak jate hain Jin ko rah pr Aana nahi aata

ye kaisa daur kaise log kaisi zindagani hai

"What kind of era, what kind of people, what kind of lives are these
We don't know how to live them
Those who are honest and straightforward reach their destination
Those who don't know how to come on the right path, they wander"

The verse reflects on the complexity and challenges of life, and the struggle to find meaning and purpose in it. It highlights the contrast between those who succeed and those who struggle, and the role of honesty and integrity in achieving success.

Phir bhi karte hain byaan mulk-e-adam ka ahwaal,
Jeetay ji Hazrat-e-Insaan kabhi aaye na gaye.

Rashid Rampuri

Still we describe the condition of the land of nothingness,
Human beings, even when alive, have never returned victorious.
Rashid Rampuri

This couplet by Rashid Rampuri expresses the fleeting nature of human life and the inevitability of death. It suggests that despite our efforts to understand the condition of nothingness or non-existence, we will never truly comprehend it until we experience it ourselves. The second line emphasizes the fact that no matter how long we live, human beings have never returned victorious from the struggle against death. In essence, the couplet is a reminder that life is precious and should be valued while we have it, as it is a temporary state that will eventually come to an end.

Now it's not his love that is needed,
But the desire to meet him and then part ways is much.
Zafar Iqbal"

This couplet by Zafar Iqbal conveys the idea that sometimes the desire to meet someone, even if it means eventually having to part ways, is stronger than the need for their love. The poet addresses Rashid Rampuri and suggests that the desire to meet him and spend time with him is greater than the need for his love, implying that the poet cherishes the memories and moments spent with Rashid Rampuri more than the feeling of love itself.

"Unique, strange, rare, still exist
Those faces which are accustomed to my eyes"

The couplet emphasizes the rarity of unique and extraordinary individuals who stand out from the crowd and are not easily forgotten. The poet suggests that our eyes become accustomed to seeing the same faces repeatedly, making it all the more special to encounter someone truly rare and exceptional.
