लहरों में डूबते रहे, दरिया नहीं मिला
उससे बिछड़ के फिर कोई वैसा नहीं मिला

कुछ लोग थोड़ी देर तो अच्छे लगे मगर
हम जिसके हो सकें कोई ऐसा नहीं मिला

वह भी बहुत अकेला है शायद मेरी तरह
उसको भी कोई चाहने वाला नहीं मिला

Lahron mein doobte rahe, dariya nahi mila
We kept drowning in the waves, but never found the river.

Usse bichhad ke phir koi waisa nahi mila
After parting ways with them, I never found anyone quite like them again.

Kuch log thodi der to achhe lage magar
Some people seemed nice for a little while, but...

Hum jiske ho sakein koi aisa nahi mila
I never found anyone to whom I could truly belong.

Woh bhi bahut akela hai shayad meri tarah
