Father's day poetry

 ایک بیٹی کے لیے بہت فخر کی بات ہوتی ہے
 جب لوگ کہتے ہیں یہ تو بلکل اپنے باپ پہ گئی ہے

It is a matter of great pride for a daughter
when people say that she has absolutely gone on her father

एक बेटी के लिए बहुत फक्र की बात होती है जब लोग कहते हैं
ये तो बिलकुल अपने बाप पे गही है. 

پاپا ایک دن کیا آپ کے نام کر دوں

کہ دو ایک بار اپنی جان آپکے نام کردوں

آپنے ہی تو ان سانسو کو زندگی دی ہے

آپ کے ہونے سے ہی میری پہچان بنی ہے

पापा एक दिन क्या आपके नाम कर दूं,

कह दो एक बार अपनी जान आपके नाम करदूं

आपनें ही तो इन सांसो को जिन्दगी दी है

आप के होने से ही मेरी पहचान बनी है..!!

Dad, I want to devote you one day.

Let me lay down my life for you once and for all

You have given life to these breaths

my identity is being because of you 

अपने पापा को आज मैं क्या उपहार दूं

तोहफे दूं फूलों के या गुलाबों का हार दूं

मेरी ज़िंदगी में जो है सबसे प्यारा

उस पर तो मैं अपनी ज़िंदगी भी वार दूं!
