اسی جگہ اسی دن تو ہوا تھا یہ اعلان

اندھیرے ہار گئے زندہ باد ہندوستان

دلوں میں حب وطن ہے اگر تو ایک رہو

نکھارنا یہ چمن ہے اگر تو ایک رہو

اس ملک کی سرحد کو کوئی چھو نہیں سکتا

جس ملک کی سرحد کی نگہبان ہیں آنکھیں

दिल से निकलेगी न मर कर भी वतन की उल्फ़त

मेरी मिट्टी से भी ख़ुशबू-ए-वफ़ा आएगी

वतन के जाँ-निसार हैं वतन के काम आएँगे

हम इस ज़मीं को एक रोज़ आसमाँ बनाएँगे
