Bahadur Shah Zafar’s Heartfelt Shayari on Delhi’s Decline – A Poetic Reflection on History

Bahadur Shah Zafar Sad Shayari

Delhi's condition is not fit to be described,
This tale is worthy of tears and lamentation.
The looters destroyed those palaces of the homeland,
Which were once a sight to behold and show.
There is no home, no door, no garden or greenery,
Only Delhi's condition is left to narrate.
The last lamp of the Caliphate and Empire,
Bahadur Shah Zafar.
