مرشدکی یہ تعلیم تھی اے مسلم شوریدہ سر

لازم ہے روبروکے لیے دنیا میں سامان سفر

मुर्शिद की ये तालीम थी ऐ मुस्लिम शुरीदा सर 

लाज़िम है रूबरू के लिए दुनिया में सामान-ऐ-सफर 

The preceptor’s teaching was, “o foolish Muslim!

“necessary preparations are incumbent on the traveler”

ترے دريا ميں طوفاں کيوں نہيں ہے

خودی تيری مسلماں کيوں نہيں ہے

عبث ہے شکوئہ تقدير يزداں

تو خود تقدير يزداں کيوں نہيں ہے

Why is there no storm in your sea?

Why is your Khudi (Self) not Muslim? 

It is pointless to complain of God’s decree –

 Why are you not God’s decree?

Jurraat Ho NuMu Ni To Fiza Tang Nahi Hai

Ay-Mard-e-Khuda Mulk-e-Khuda Tang Nahi Hai

جرات ہو نمو کی تو فضا تنگ نہیں ہے
اے مردخدا ملک خدا تنگ نہیں ہے

جو عالم ایجاد میں ہے صاحب ایجاد
ہر دور میں کرتا ہے طواف اس کا زمانہ

जो आलम-ऐ-इजाद में है साहब-ऐ-इजाद 

हर दौर में करता है तवाफ़ उस का ज़माना 

one who invents new ways in this world of inventions.

Is always cherished and followed by his time

محبت کا جنوں باقی نہيں ہے
مسلمانوں ميں خوں باقی نہيں ہے
صفيں کج ، دل پريشاں ، سجدہ بے ذوق
کہ جذب اندروں باقی نہيں ہے

Transliteration

Mohabbat Ka Junoon Baqi Nahin Hai
Musalman Mein Khoon Baqi Nahin Hai

Safeen Kaj, Dil Preshan, Sajda Be-Zauq
Ke Jazb-e-Androon Baqi Nahin Hai

اس راز کو اک مرد فرنگی نے کیافاش

ہرہ چندکہ دانا اسے کھولا نہیں کرتے

اس قوم کو شمشیر کی جاجت نہیں رہتی

ہو جس کے جوانوں کی خودی صورت فولاد

توبہ کے امید پر ہوچکے بہت گناہ یارب

مہلت تو مل رہی ہےتوفیق بھی عطا کر

एक रज़ को एक मर्द फिरंगी न किआ फश

हर चंद के दाना प्रयोग खोले न कोटे

उस क़ौम को शमशीर की हाजत नहीं रहती 

हो जिस की जवानों की खुदी सूरत-ऐ-फौलाद 

तौबा की उम्मीद पर हो चुके बहुत गुनाह या रब!

मोहलत तो मिल रही है तौफ़ीक़ भी अत कर 

some European sage (Stendhal) this secret was revealed, 

though men endowed with sense, not revealed it.

The nation does not need to have sword to fight

Self-hood of young men of whose is stronger then steel

Many sins have been committed in the hope of repentance

we are are being given respite, also bestow us qualities

One who sings the song of his greatness can never be great.

Life is the beginning of death and death is the beginning of life.

The pursuit of knowledge is a form of worship in any color.

Don't look at failure and success. Recognize your goal of creation and strive.

The believer is as soft as silk and as hard as steel.

Work is as sacred to me as worship.

Man must always remember that good deeds  never go waste.

The heart is something that does not belong to the rich.

Faith is a great strength and justice is a precious treasure and patience is a great happiness.

The real foundation of the Believer is on the belief of Tawheed (oneness of God) and the end of Prophethood.

The status of a great teacher is like that of the sun which transmits its light and heat to everything without any limit.

The purpose of human birth is to conquer the universe.
