"Ghalib kehte hain ke har ek baat zuban ke aage hoti hai,
Lekin zuban tak bhi kuch baaten hoti hain,
jo sirf dil ke aage hoti hain."
Mirza Ghalib

 "Ghalib says that every word has a tongue,
But there are some things that are only in front of the heart."

"तुम मेरे विषय नहीं, तुम तो हमारी जान हो;
सुना था वो जो महफिलों के वास्ते हो।"

This Shayari is by the famous Urdu poet, Mirza Ghalib.
It expresses the idea that the beloved is not just a subject or topic,
but is an integral part of the
