تعجب ہے! دین، قیامت اور نماز — ایک آنکھ کھول دینے والی نظم

"ख़ुदा के दीन से रग़बत नहीं, तअज्जुब है,

ख़याल रोज़े क़यामत नहीं, तअज्जुब है।

आदमी का जिस्म क्या है, जिस पे शैदा है जहाँ,

एक मिट्टी की इमारत, एक मिट्टी का मकाँ।

ख़ून का गारा बनाया, ईंट जिसमें हड्डियाँ,

चंद साँसों पे खड़ा है ये ख़याली आसमाँ।

मौत की पुरज़ोर आँधी जब टकराएगी,

टूटकर फिर ये इमारत, ख़ाक में मिल जाएगी।

ये इमारत, देर में लालो-गोहऱ क्या चीज़ है,

दौलत-ए-ईमान के आगे, माल-ओ-ज़र क्या चीज़ है।

बे-नवा मुफ़लिस-नवा, खुशहाल पूछे जाएँगे,

माल के बदले, फ़क़त आमाल पूछे जाएँगे।

है तेरे पास बहुत वक़्त ग़ीबतों के लिए,

तुझे नमाज़ की फ़ुर्सत नहीं, तअज्जुब है!"**

"No interest in the religion of God — surprising,

No thought of the Day of Judgment — astonishing.

What is the human body that the world is so obsessed with?

Just a structure of dust, a house made of soil.

Mortar made of blood, bricks of bones,

This imaginary sky stands on just a few breaths.

When the storm of death strikes with force,

This structure will collapse and return to dust.

This temporary building — what are rubies and pearls within it?

Compared to the wealth of faith, what are gold and riches?

The poor and the prosperous — both will be questioned,

Not by their wealth, but by their deeds alone.

You have plenty of time for gossip and backbiting,

But no time for prayer — astonishing indeed!"**

یہ نظم ایک روحانی جھنجھوڑنے والی تنبیہ ہے، جو انسان کو اس کی زندگی کی حقیقت اور آخرت کی فکر کی طرف متوجہ کرتی ہے۔

شاعر تعجب کا اظہار کرتا ہے کہ آج کا انسان خدا کے دین میں دلچسپی نہیں لیتا، اور قیامت کے دن کی تیاری نہیں کرتا — حالانکہ یہی دونوں سب سے اہم ہیں۔

دنیا جس جسم کی چاہ میں مبتلا ہے، وہ محض مٹی، خون، اور ہڈیوں سے بنی ایک فانی عمارت ہے۔

موت ایک طوفان کی طرح آئے گی اور یہ عمارت خاک میں مل جائے گی — اس کی کوئی حیثیت باقی نہیں رہے گی۔

دنیا کی دولت، سونا چاندی، اور قیمتی پتھر بھی ایمان کے سامنے بے وقعت ہیں۔

قیامت کے دن دولت سے نہیں بلکہ اعمال سے سوال ہوگا۔

انسان غیبت، چغلی، اور فضول باتوں میں وقت ضائع کرتا ہے، لیکن نماز جیسے اہم فرض کے لیے وقت نہیں نکالتا — یہ واقعی تعجب کی بات ہے!
